Small Business Public Relations Web Site Merges with Webmaster Resource Site; Both Folded Into New PR/Promotion Resource

LONG BEACH, Calif., July 31, 2000 — Small business public relations web site, Send2press.com, today merged with webmaster resource site, DotComMojo.com. The two web sites will now be included within existing content found on the Mindset Netwire business-to-business site, located at www.MindsetNetwire.com. The new site with combined content will relaunch on August 1, 2000.

Send2press.com has offered press release writing and distribution services since 1999, utilizing the talents of working professional journalists and editors to provide both site content and client services. Using a proprietary database of over 12,000 journalists and editorial contacts in North America, Send2Press.com has provided an affordable alternative to media news distribution versus more expensive wire services.

DotComMojo.com has offered web site promotion, keyword positioning, and a webmaster reference library containing articles on topics like using META tags, to image compression and designing web sites for e-commerce. Free services and utilities include a META tag generator, web site search engine submission tool, HTML color picker, and more.

“We felt the two sites had highly complimentary service offerings, and a common audience,” said Christopher Simmons, Mindset President. “Most small businesses, home-based businesses, and consultants launching their first web sites were coming to DotComMojo looking for ways to promote their site, and to gain knowledge. Send2Press provides promotional tools for small businesses which have news they want to get out to the media. Maybe they just need help proof-reading their site content. Cross promoting these sites to each other’s audience made sense initially, before we realized the type of small business marketeer could benefit from finding these various resources in a single location.”

“We did a survey of almost 100 companies,” said Mr. Simmons, “and discovered that there really is a sense of being overwhelmed by the information on the Internet. Small business owners are looking to simplify their work, whether it’s related to dealing with their customers and maintaining that relationship, or learning how to do business more effectively. We’re hopeful that our resource will meet some of these critical needs.”

The combined web site will be located at www.MindsetNetwire.com and the two existing domains now point to this new resource.
